wonderful pork chop marinade recipe

pork chops are always a favorite here. i mixed up the seasoning since my herb garden is big enough for me to start nipping at my plants.

the seasoning for the pork chops was wonderful.

Marinade:
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp indian tumeric
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp of pepper
4 large leaves of fresh African Basil
4 large leaves of fresh Sweet Basil
2 sprigs of fresh oregano
2 leaves of fresh spearmint
10 sprigs of chive
1/4 onion
1/4 cup of extra virgin olive oil

finely dice herbs and onion and put in small mixing bowl. add the rest of the ingredients  and mix thoroughly. put mixture and meat in a plastic bag or bowl. make sure meat gets well coated. let the gooey meat mixture sit in the fridge for at least 2 hours before cooking. when you go to cook the meat, do not wipe off any of the marinade.

i must admit, i never use mint of any kind while cooking, but just adding that tiny little bit really made this delicious.

enjoy!
